T.V. matching reality?

I recently started watching a series call “Devils” and as IMDB explains it “a worldwide financial conspiracy is discovered by a group of traders and a large investment bank”, it’s really about hinting at how things could really be in the world of finance. I find it very interesting that guy who runs the banks last name was Morgan. J.P. Morgan was an American banker who dominated finance on Wall Street. After watching the first episode I found it very intriguing how they alluded to the idea of the international banks and how they may have a hand in creating world events so that they can profit from positions they hold. Now I don’t know how much of this is true in the real world but what I do know from experience as a trader is that it is very uncanny how well, certain events in the world are timed with the markets so that they favour the moves expected by the international bankers.

I find the show pretty decent. I would rate it maybe a 7 out of 10. The reason I am watching it though is because first, I am a trader and anything related to trading I am on it. Second, out of all the t.v. shows I’ve watched regarding trading, “Billions” being another, this show is I think closest to reality than any other and again this is based on what I’ve come to personally know about the markets, institutional market manipulation and how world events are conveniently timed with anticipated moves in price.

Give it a watch if you can, you might find it interesting!
