Examining some of the recent $AUDUSD retail sentiment data what we are seeing is a somewhat predictable trend taking place. As you can observe on the chart below when retail sentiment is strongly bearish we eventually see a move lower in price and when it is strongly bullish price eventually rallies. Now it is not always this way, you have to take into consideration a few other data points such as supply/demand dynamics as well as correlations with other markets but from what we can see this data is suggesting a move lower is coming.
